The Japanese Language JLPT-TEST is held twice a year since 1988 in Japan and other countries. The format of the Japanese Language NAT-TEST and questions that appear on it are based on the Japanese Language Achievement Test for Non-Native Speakers, which also conforms to the guidelines of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT).

Moreover,the Japanese Language NAT-TEST is an examination that measures the Japanese language ability of students who are non-native Japanese speakers. The tests are separated by difficulty (five levels) and general ability is measured in three categories: Grammar/Vocabulary, Listening and Reading. The NAT-TEST is held six times a year so you can use it to get a more detailed measure of the progress of your Japanese ability.

Top-J is a standardized test to certify the proficiency of non-native speakers of the Japanese language. The test result is used for different purposes like entrance requirement for educational institutes in Japan. It is conducted by the Japanese Language Teachers Association Nepal (JALTAN). The Japanese Language Achievement Test is used by many Japanese language schools and education centers to measure student’s performance.

    The NAT-TEST for the Japanese Language has five levels. The easiest level is level 5, which is followed by levels 4, 3, 2, and finally, level 1, which is the most difficult. Each level’s difficulty corresponds to its respective level on the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (from N5 to N1).

    A Language Knowledge component, which includes reading, grammar, and vocabulary, a Reading Comprehension section, and a Listening section are all included in Levels 1 and 2. Levels 3, 4, and 5 feature a Language Knowledge phase with kanji and vocabulary, followed by a Grammar and Reading section, and finally a Listening session. Test takers will need several hours to complete the exam on the day of the exam.

    The NAT-TEST follows the JLPT in terms of content, questions, and format. The NAT-TEST was created to allow you to use JLPT-style material and practice questions while studying for the NAT-TEST.

    The Senmon Kyouiku Publishing Co.’s Administration Committee is solely responsible for the NAT administration. TEST’s (Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, Japan). Each country’s Regional Office is in charge of the tests. The Committee provides technical advice and support to Regional Offices to ensure that the NAT-TEST is properly operated and that testing integrity is maintained.

    A score report will be mailed to all NAT-Exam test participants. Those who pass the exam will be awarded a competency certificate as well as an image of the examinee.

    • Test takers must achieve a score of at least 25% on each of the individual sections, as well as an overall score that exceeds the exam's overall pass mark, to pass the exam (typically around 60%).

    • Each test's easier levels evaluate the reading, vocabulary, grammar, and listening skills. NAT is considered to be significantly more difficult than JLPT, even though both tests cover identical material.
